Hi Eric, I bought a Kingscale Black5 and i love it, i,v sorted a few minor things and made some improvements, ie- Cab Windows and Doors, also Handrails on the Tender, I'm currently weathering it down and letting it get really dirty, I remember engines in this state and they do look more authentic, (my opinion), I dont have a track but do have a rolling road in my shed with a Loco shed type chimney that gets all the smoke away as i burn House Coal, smells great, enjoy the hobby.

I built three 5” gauge maxitrak steam loco’s between the ages of 8 & 14 with my dad. My late father also used to run Maxitrak as a director along with the owner Andy and they sacked him and took his retirement money, this ultimately caused his death at the age of 59 due to stress.
