What an outstanding restoration on this '60 El Camino. I think the '59 and '60's were the best looking of all and this one nails it with blue-silver paint, ermine white roof, and my favorite - dog dish style hub caps. I would likely not have done anything different in restoring this beauty including addition of LS engine. So unique and beautiful. Well done guys and thanks.

Very nice , tastefully done. LS engine makes it so reliable and a perfect driver. That El Camino was born Sunstan Copper Poly paint, code 920A. His choice however is also period correct and looks sharp. It's always amazing to see, which this looked only to be a shell without a nose ect , brought back to this result. That is a lot of time money and effort to cross over the finish line. Thanks Lou and to the proud owner, well done.

The mid-late 60's Ford Rancheros are station wagon based, also. Probably other years, too, but mine are '69's and that's the only version I can verify. Perch-to-perch housing spacing is three inches narrower on the Wagon/Ranchero than the Fairlane/Torino, and carry 5-leaf springs instead of four. Legally classified as 1/2-ton light trucks, same as F100. Very nice Camino there!

Hi David David, That would be a nice touch, Lou

@@loucostabile No offense meant. I didn't mean that as a dig at the owner. Just a dig at Chevy. Unused space needs a toolbox. Didn't Ford have a pickup with an underbed tool box behind the cab? I remember seeing that somewhere.

Hi Michael Martinez, Because I like to know the details and what they say. Usually you can't see or read them, however with the magnification of the camera, you might actually be able to read them for a change. Lou

Hello, I own one of the 50 De Tomaso Vallelunga cars with registration number B-650077. I am interested in it being auctioned. This car won the award at the Sitges Elegance Show and appeared in Autódromo Magazine # 6, pages 36 and 37 and Cuatroruedas Magazine

Hello Crystal, Sounds like a great car. I really don't know much about auctioning a car. Hopefully a Viewer can share knowledge. Lou
