1960 MGA final assembly, grille and bonnet latch

I finish installing the bonnet latch, and install the grill on the 1960 MGA 1600 restoration project

Great patience, experience, talent!I always liked the way an MGA looked but I've had an MG midget since 75 and of course the hood and grill is much simpler, The MGA always looks like a miniHealy 3000 to me, My MG mechanic told me the MGC was very tough to work on with that 6 cylinder in the MGB, With the smallhood of the MGA it looks like it'd be tough to get to components but my mechanic told me the MGA wasn't too bad

When you say grill must fit the body do you mean the body metal must be hammered to fit the grill or are you using body filler to “sculpt” the body to fit the grill…. Interesting

The right way is to make the metal fit the best you can and minimize the body filler to just final surface finish
