Hello my friend, We are in the third part of the restoration of the legendary table saw. It will be more functional with this renovation. The suction power of this dust collection system is great. Perfect for the knife and miter setup you use. Nice extras. good job. congratulations. Thank you for sharing the details. See you later. I wish you have a nice weekend.

Thanks for the modified insert demo. I'd seen the video you quoted as your inspiration, but was unsure. You laid that business to rest. Again-your irreverent sense of humor is such a breath of 'fresh' air. Nice to feel like I'm in the shop--Not in a classroom being monitored by the F'n PC (politically correct) pukes.

Great video and detail. Apologies if you have answered this before, if you are prepared to disclose, what sort of motor did you get for this? Brand/supplier/cost/spec? There are a lot of splendid 3 phase tools out there, and I doubt I would get 3 phase installed in my workshop, so I'm considering getting a 16A circuit installed, which I imagine is a minimum for running heavy duty machines like these.
@HewAndAwe Жыл бұрын
It’s more to do with the right size pulley and that it fits the bolt pattern then anything, power is up to you I went with a 3hp and am happy with that as I never put a 12” blade in and it’s hard to stall the motor. Yeah you will need a 16A supply sometimes it’ll work on a normal fuse but mostly not. I’ve been asked this loads and I can’t find the receipt. Think the motor was close to 200 quid, you’ve gotta get the the pulleys right and the shape of the v bands oh and length.

@@johncooke4643 I wondered if there was a market for refurbed wadkin, my bro fancies buying some and me do them to sell on, but I’m not sure. Funny you mention the fence, I’ve heard a lot of peeps complain about the AGS fence, mines bang on square even though the rails aren’t parallel, runs nice and smooth too, can push it with one finger. Do you mind me asking what model and what you’re paying for one? You know there’s a Facebook group for wadkin tools?

what was your soundtrack on this vid?
@HewAndAwe2 жыл бұрын
Next time you see a rainbow run towards the end of it. If you make it in time you'll be met by a leprechaun guarding a pot of gold. Answer one of his riddles and he will give you enough gold to buy the soundtrack. That's the easy bit, next you have to find the soundtrack .. I've heard it's guarded by a dragon in a cave of enchanted talking monkeys across a field of unicorns and through a wood full or fairies and goblins. Good luck! ...In short its one sound track I cant talk about...

Beautiful restoration on that old beauty! I love old machines, old tools, anything older that was made better and stronger. I love your builds to, but could do without the music. I think you would have more subscribers without it. There's more of a demand for videos to be less music video, and more shop sounds. Just a thought...
