It's great to see the Beast Market in action! At that time I had just left off living in Lea Road, off Brook Street - Wrexham Steam Laundry was on the corner, and the Firestone factory a little further up the road.

Wonderful old footage of 60s Wrexham, I.went to Rhosnesni Infants School then Acton Park Primary School, we lived in Rhosnesni Lane until we left Wrexham in 1966.

Great to watch... I was born in 67 in Wrexham.... I grew up there and lived there until 2011. I know and remember so much, having grown up in Rhosddu. If anyone needs any info... Message me and i will try and help.

It'll never be a city to the vast majority of Wrexham, it'll always be a town. But the people of the town never got a chance to vote on it, it was a decision made by a group that sets it's own rules in secret meetings.
