My dad gave me this Tonka tow truck for Christmas in the early sixties. I played with it for years and when I stopped playing with it I placed it in my toy box, in the basement, and forgot about it. It sat in there in for 20+ years until I thought I would look inside the box. I thought about throwing it away, as I did with so many other things but thought better of it. I placed it on top of my bookcase, in my office where it has sat since. I am now in my 60s and as I work at my desk I look up from time-to-time at it sitting there and think of times past.

Whilst I love the sandblasting and the paint baking-I just can’t get enough of the sounds 👍 The clicking and snapping and clunking just warms my heart. I’m addicted !!

Thank you for not playing music, and what a wonderful job you did!

I imagine you get a lot of satisfaction from what you do. The toys I grew up with are much like what you restore. No plastics, but honest metals. My Dad used to tell me that anything could be restored, as long as it was metal. I just subbed your channel today after watching several of your videos. You do amazing work. J in Oregon

Amazing job, but for me - I prefer the truck the way it was before restoration. To me it had more life, more soul and it was a piece of art in it's own way.
