Correct me if I am wrong. At about 0.31, although I could not get a good luck I saw what I think is an alternator, not a generator. Didn't alternators start being used in about 1962 or 1963? Also, the battery is a sealed unit not the type which had caps for each cell.

So yes it has an alternator on it. Common thing that is actually an upgrade. And it has a modern sealed battery. Thanks!

Just not a fan of the 1961 model year. It looks like a Chevy to me. Bland front end and horizontal tail lights. Reverse underside tailfins is just awful. 1963 Cadillac got their mojo back. If you want 1961, the Lincoln Continental is the better choice.
