Yep, just found one. The irony is that I got it as pocket change when I was at a coin shop buying a German coin for my son. I paid in cash and received a bunch of 50s and 60s era coins as change ( no silver, though ).. I'm happy.

Hey Christian... I have a question... I have a 1961 D Penny that is beautiful. It's a deep red copper... So pretty and it even looks like it's uncirculated? Very glossy... But I can't find anything about this coin. It almost looks too good to be true. Any chance you might know something about this coin?

If you are sure it's the error, you can see if any local coin shops are doing submissions if it's at that range.

maybe you can help me..seems that I have asked everyone else..the other night I received change from the store..I noticed this penny didn't look right...its a 1970 double die...obverse...not only that...it is also doubled on the reverse...I've heard its a well sought out coin...if so, I would like to know, how would I sell such a coin?
