My dad has owned his corvette before he met my mother! they have been married for 50 yrs. Unfortunately he had kids, car got parked in 83… if everything goes right, it will be out of hiding and on its way to get running in a few weeks!!! Love the video thanks

Great video on a great corvette...well done sir. In the early 60's I watched Route 66 and fell in. love with the corvette. It took me till I turned 60 to get one, a triple black 2005 C6. Wish I had the money to get a great C1.

Great video. We had a Chevy dealer in the samll town I grew up in that was one of the top Corvette dealers in the nation back in the early 60's. This little town was right between Luke AFB in Phoenix and Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson. The air force pilots would come to our little town to order their Corvettes because of the discount he offered over the big city Chevy dealers. Word of mouth and his Corvette business really took off.

So, was the dealership in Casa Grande? I lived in Phoenix for 23 years before moving back to my home state of Connecticut in 2002.

@@ride-ct-classiccars I got one recently because the image ate at me. A great guy gave me his original red interior. From black to cream is a jump. The cracks in the paint weighed on me until I saw your video. I’m gonna get to enjoying her before weather changes again.
