I had a 1962 Chevy Impala four door hardtop I loved that car. I bought it used I had till it got stolen on me. That's when car's had style and elegance. And a body by Fisher.

Beautiful car! My first car was a Blue 62 Impala, Red Interior, 409, 4 Speed! Loved it!,,,, Stupid me put new mufflers on,,, Didn't have money for tailpipes. That 409 heated the rear floorboards up, carpet caught fire. THAT WAS ALL SHE WROTE! SAVED THE ENGINE & TRANS.., EVERYTHING ELSE BURNED!

That is a beautiful restoration. The car may have had 67XXX miles showing on a 5 digit odometer when restored, or the current owner bought a restored car from someone selling it as a true 67 thousand miles car, but it is restored. Very pretty car.

Fender skirts ought to be “integrated” into the design of the rear fenders. The ones on this car look like they were added as an “afterthought!” Power steering is included on the engine, but despite the 327ci. V8, there’s no “power brakes.” Strange!

I totally agree. Skirts should be flush with the body. The fender flare just doesn’t work with them. Much better looking sans skirt.

From the side you can still see 50's design elements. The lines of the vehicle hadn't been "cleaned up" and smoothed out/simplified yet. The fender skirts over the rear wheels are a dead giveaway.
