Yeh and it was a Chet Atkins design with no f holes reduce feedback thatscwhy it has Chet Atkins bon the pick guard and no way in a hundred years could your Harrison 🤔😂😂😂ever play like chett they were a rip off rocknroll covers band with a couple of self pend hits with s screaming teenage fans in old footage and it's been proven that shows a girl with an Elvis plaquard at there supposed concert saying we love Elvis ...the footage was manipulated and cut and pasted to make them a bigger act than they actually we're ..the footage was actually from an Elvis concert the king himself .. So let's and the world of media not kid itself on ...it still goes on today with these talent factor shows and in the American country scene and certain 🇬🇧 radio stations lol 😂🙌🤔💰💰💰💰🤝. 👎

The sound from this guitar fully embodies and epitomizes the former Gretsch tag line "That great Gretsch sound!". But it's too bad it no longer has that great Gretsch look, considering the poor quality refinish job. Whoever did this one even forgot, or otherwise neglected, to install the metal "The Chet Atkins Tennessean Model" nameplate back onto the headstock. I learned a very valuable lesson maybe 35 years ago. I owned a 1968 Gretsch Streamliner whose original turquoise paint had seen better days, so I had it redone with a very high quality job, so as to rival the factory's original work. This was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. It cut the value of the guitar by 30 percent or more. The 70-year-old Gretsch aficionado from whom I had bought it informed me that as it had been, it still retained about 80 to 85 percent of its current maximum market value, and that a collectible guitar should never be refinished unless the condition of the original finish is so bad that it makes the guitar worth less than if it were refinished. This is because altering any original aspect of the instrument removes a part of history which can NEVER be recovered. This part of history is then, and forever, lost to the ages. And after all, isn't history the reason why we love and buy any historically significant artifacts (besides that great Gretsch sound, LoL!!!)?
@kamenii

Not all Tennesseans have the nameplate. George Harrison's sure didn't. Not sure if George took it off, or some just don't come with it.

The f holes were painted to reduce feedback. I believe that a solid center block accomplishes the same thing, pretty much, which is why the recent Gretsches are mostly open F holes.

I used to blast my Harmony Rocket II thru a LPB1 and a Magnatone 1-12 combo gererating feed back like the guitar was breathing, so much air rushed thru the F holes. Mark Farner used masking tape on his Messenger in the early GFR days. btw, Paul Gilbert liked F holes.
