Hey Floyd, enjoyed your little talk on your Dream. I have my 60 C77 Dream which is restored, I try to ride it about once a month, usually in the morning before all the idiots in cages come around.... with the early classic bikes not having turn signals or adequate brakes you definitely have to be quite aware. You say that you take it on the highway, which I say no way!! Here in California, the drivers will run you over if not doing 70+ mph, which we know the Dream would have a hard time doing... so when I ride, I usually just keep it on the city streets...

I only take it on local US highways with 55-65 mph speed limits. I definitely would not recommend getting on the interstate with it. Although my wife and I did ride I-40 through N.C. on a 250 scooter one time, that was nerve wracking.

Thanks for showing this one, sir. I rode Hondas in high school but never had a 305. My circle of friends looked down on the Dream bikes. They preferred the Super Hawk and Scrambler series and so did I. One friend did have a 1968 Dream, a 150cc bike, which served him well. Having said all of this, I'd enjoy a ride on your 305 Dream if I ever get a chance to find your dirt road. Stay safe, sir.
