This is a video slideshow for my 1963 Honda Dream CA77 - The Restoration is from 2004 and the purpose was to have record of pictures so I could look back onto for reassembly. Enjoy !!

Nice restoration! Thanks for posting. In Japan, the Dream's design was known as the Jinja-Bukkaku style (the 'Shinto Shrine/Buddhist Temple Style') and was Soichiro Honda's bold attempt to create a uniquely Japanese design based on traditional Japanese architecture. I bought my '67 305 at a local JY for $150, cleaned it up a bit and rode the snot out of it for five or six years, including using it as my daily commuter. It's resting now, but I have bold plans for it!

Lovely bike - UK bikes in 1963 had stamped sheet metal handlebars…..seem to be very rare now.🇬🇧

Stamped handle bars?? Realy? I don't think so -no evidence anywhere of stamped handle bars. Frame yes.

免許取り立てで初めて買ったHONDAドリーム自動二輪（中古の青枠）でした。黒塗りの重厚なスタイルのスタンダードシリーズでしたが青山通りを赤坂からの坂道を青山方面に向かい１２０キロで走ることが出来ました。第三で最高速は1５０キロぐらい出たかな。タイプ２の３６０度クランクで回転のレスポンスは上がりませんが低速は粘りがありました。このシリーズには２５０CC（ｃ７２）やアップマフラーのスポーツタイプもありこちらは１８０度のクランクでレスポンスもいいバイクでした。この後にCBシリーズが出てきてから影が薄くなりましたが江の島や鎌倉、城ヶ島夏休みには伊豆半島へ一週間のキャンプをした思い出がよみがえります。綺麗にレストアされたC77に再びあてたことに嬉しさと共に懐かしさがよみがえりました。ありがとう。

白バイのCP77やC72は知っていましたが、実用車にも305CCがあったんですね! 当時（昭和43年頃）は車検のあるバイクは、白バイ以外ほぼ見ることがなかったです。私もCB72に乗ったことがありますが、C72には乗ったことがありません。でもすごいレストアですね

Hello, nice job. Was that an added on vin tag from a local dmv inspection station I saw? A lot of folks can't find the real vin # stamped by the foot peg on these Dreams.
