Great to watch this old footage, technology has come a long way in terms of filming and race coverage, as well as facilities at the track. And I learnt something, I noticed an EH Holden in the race and was thinking that it must be the '64 race, but then I found out that the EH was released in August '63

100% no. Race coverage was all on race day: 830-1030, then 5 minute segments at 125, 250, 325, then the final hour 400-500 and that evenings 30 min highlights at 1025. 1964 was 830-1200, 200, 255 (both 5 min) the 330-500 then the 1050 replay. 1965: 830-1200, 130-300, religion then 330 to 500 and the replay. 1966: 830-1130, 1230-500, replay 1967 was very similar. 1968 was almost the full broadcast with Sportsaction aka Sportsworld for the hour at lunch and that programming remained in place until the1976 race. Soures: The Herald Sun Sunday tv guide that day. Interesting I thought Conrods tv camera was at skyline (i only saw in the breif highlights which previously circulated)(which it was moved to for 64 confirmed by photos and that years film review) but this 63 race it was placed above Dick Johnsons rock spot and you can see it barely got a partial view across Reid Park. Most books say there was 4 cameras but I think counted the 2 along pit straight and the cutting mentioned above which makes 3.
