If you invested your $3000 in 1971 and purchased stocks it would be worth over $500,000 today. Which would you prefer ? $500K in stocks or this car that isn't worth more than $120K. Their Asking price of $200K is bullshit. I collect cars and this car is $120K max

$3000 was a lot of money back then. Not too many people had that kind of cash sitting around. I had a 1948 Indian inline 4, sold it for $50 in the early 60's...

In 1970 I was 21. Saw a 63 split window on a used car lot in Van Nuys CA. I left a $5 deposit ( true) and returned a couple of days later and paid the $1500 price. Things were affordable back in the 60's - 70's .
