It would be difficult to say that for several reasons...first off, being a 1963, this is not exactly a car that you can just go to the EPA's website or look up a recent road test in a car mag to find that figure. Second, although the car is in very good driving condition, it's impossible to say (without full disassembly) if this car's engine is still exactly as it left the factory. Nonetheless, if I had to guess, I'd say probably 13-14 in town and probably about 18 mpg on the highway.

@DaBoogie049 Yep, that's an LS1 in that '58. Backed by a 6 speed, with working air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, 4 wheel disc...needless to say, that was a pretty sweet car.

What is the gas mileage on this freeway and city?

@DaBoogie049 Yep....we usually avoid cosmetically modified cars like the plague as they tend to seriously narrow down the number of potential buyers.

Love the sound at idle. Sounds like a Pratt & Whitney radial!

@hottdylan1993 SERIOUSLY!! I never was a fan of midyear convertibles (or any other convertibles for that matter), but especially if you're talking about a 1963. Oddly enough, Corvette coupes had a HIGHER price than Convertibles all the way through 1975. This is certainly not the case today on the Corvette, or any other car for that matter. In fact, a 2011 Corvette Convertible is a full $5,000 more than a Coupe.

@hottdylan1993 Same here...convertibles weigh more, don't hold as much, and you can't see out of them as easy. Coupes FTW!

Aww a convertible? why? They shouldn't have made conv in 63, I want to see that sexy split window.

@buyavettedotnet That is absolutely true. But if it was up to me, I would pay more for the coupe even on todays Vettes, coupes are just better. My dream car is a 70 Chevelle but if it's convertible I honestly would probably turn it down, and on this Vette it looks horrible, and unnatural, kind of like Marilyn Monroe with a 6 pack.

The guy narrating this video needs to stop smacking his lips when he talks. It's incredibly annoying.
