We are back, trying to get this car so as complete as we can so we can get it to the chassis shop for a 25.5 cage! But in this episode we knock out fixing the rusted floor pan and fabricate our own subframe connectors! Stay tuned for the next episodes!!

On your hole saws stuff some rags inside a holesaw so that when you’re squirting fluid for the holesaw the rags keep the holesaw cooler so it doesn’t wear the bit out is quick

When you tig weld you need to move the welding around, front to back and side to side to much heat and things warp , I'm surprised you don't have the car on stands and leveled out and not move it to keep square. You might want to put some out board supports in weld 1/8in plate on pinch rail then weld tubing to the frame connectors for more support. Put gussets on front spring perches

Like the ideas for the subframe connectors. im using 2x2 box tubing that i welded into the front subframe. im working on a 63 comet and want to run some wider wheels on the back. its a lot of work but worth it.

How can you move the rear leaf springs inward 1”-2” on a ‘62 Falcon? The real question is there a simple easy way or just fabrication to completely move hangers?

Dude just started watching I want to go back and catch up to here I have a 63 falcon futura I just bought 3 weeks ago want to do basically what your doing I’m going for the gasser but streetable project I love your work I’ve welded for years you’re learning tig and I’m 60 years old now and eyes not be but I’m going to do what I can got a good friend bout half my age I worked with for years just give him my Tig rig so he’ll help where I need it just hope my project turns out as nice as yours has so far great job keep up the good work

I want to T5 swap my 289 C4 66 Mustang, do you have any recommendations?

That 66 I worked on got a kit from CJ Pony Parts I believe and it looked like a good kit. I didn’t care for the clutch/cable portion of it as it was working fine then started to bind up. Maybe consider a hydraulic throw out bearing. And you can piece a kit together too. T5 stuff is everywhere.

@@TeamDPerformance Majority of aftermarket suspension systems I’ve seen sit the front fender 1 to 2 inches lower. I want to maintain my current fender height slightly above the top of the tire, or more. Any thoughts?

My car currently sits like that but with these kits you can make them sit however you want with spring changes. They use coil overs off a fox so the sky is the limit.

Anytime, no I am not using a front sway bar and I’m not sure if his a-arms come with the tab for one. You could probably add one very easily tho if not.

My first car was a 63 1/2 falcon sprint hell that was 45 + years ago pick a part had 50 or 60 falcon's in stock at all times most of them rust free now it's had to find one that's not swiss cheese my car over the years became a full framed four link big tire car with a strut front suspension and an aluminum sheet metal interior and tubs nobody thought falcon's we're cool back then except me when I sold that car I had the car running high 8 second passes at OCIR witch was hella fast back in those days I wish I never sold that car as every Chevy and Mopar guy out there hated that car😠
