The 4 link works with a panhard bar but works much better with a watts link setup.

I know that you made this comment about a month ago, I agree with you, I always wonder why they aren't more widely used, after all, the diff stays in the middle of the vehicle regardless of the height of the vehicle.

Beautiful work on the A, I'm sure the Galaxie will be just as nice. By the way nice hair cut.

Your starter is working it the silinoid that engages the starter to the flywheel that isn't working quit banging on it till you fix the silenoid

The calipers look like gm.if so are they large bore.speedway and other companys sell them and they fit anywhere a standard caliper fits and add 30% more stopping power .

Repeated comments about not greasing bearings, but nothing about missing seals… or nothing being torqued. Just a rough mock-up, done this a few times now, stuff always going on and off, no point till final assembly.

Never run dry bearings even for mock up. Don't have to pack fully, just like body tools finish is compromised from transferring irregularities.

Travis, you were heating the motor of the starter not the housing that houses the gear. The problem is that the grease on the starter shaft is frozen and you need to defrost it for the gear to be thrown out to the flywheel. I am assuming you are going to "C" notch the frame, that being the case I would suggest you go online to Bellos Kustoms and watch Mike Bello install four link on different cars.

Yeah I figured frozen grease was the culprit. I’ve done my fair share of 4 links also. Bellos does a good job

Where did you get those spindles from ?? ... I hate to say it but those are the scariest ones I've ever seen ... you've got a 4000 lb car applying G force on a hopefully noncompromised weld on both top and bottom ... I sure hope you realize that now you modified them you assume a lot of the liability if they for some reason fail ... I think I would try to gusset them if nothing else ... anytime you do chassis work for someone else you taking a chance ... just my thoughts ... don't want to see you have any problems later ...

It’s mock up. Settle down guys. You really think all the control arms bolted on are going to stay on a rusty/unpainted frame ? Come on. Use some common sense here.
