It worked to publicise his fights and to incite his aponents so they would lose their cool in the ring. In '63, he was still developing that persona .

That was a TOUGH Fight. Ali's Amazing footwork and weapon punching is sooooo freaking crazy to watch. He makes all his fights look like Movies. Chuvalo on the other hand is tougher than stones.
