Thank you, thank you so much. I knew Jack Brickhouse did announce the game, but I never had heard this. This game is etched in my memory, and is really a treasure. Do you think there are any actual videos of the ‘full game’ around.? My brother and I have always wanted to find’the full game’. Rather than clip highlights. The highlights are great, but ‘a full game with the huddles would be awesome.., If you have any suggestions, that would be fantastic! Thanks again for this treasure, especially since it has the Jack Brickhouse….(I’ve always liked Chris schenkel of course also).

I grew up with Jack Brickhouse as the voice of the Bears and Cubs games.....One of the best play callers ever! Schenkel went on to national sports announcer fame with ABC

I attended this game at the age of 12 with my grandfather. It was colder than the lunar surface. It is now family legend that at half-time I was shuttled home in a taxi since I was frozen to the bone. Go Willie G!

This is the entire 1963 NFL Championship Game - Chicago Bears vs. NY Football Giants that I digitized from an original 7" audio reel. The recording is an original aircheck recording (3.75 i.p.s.) of WNBC-TV 4 New York City broadcast from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET. Chris Schenkel, sportscaster. This recording of this game is different from the one already on KZbin that was recorded off of an AM station. This is one of over a hundred reels that were recently given to me by one of my viewers!

Wow, that's Jack Brickhouse on play by play! Definitely not Chris Schenkel, at least so far. I've always wanted to hear the Brickhouse call of this classic game. Thank you for sharing this with us! Jimmy Lee in Chicago

@@DrewTechner I searched the net and discovered Chris Schenkel does the 2nd half of the game. The quality of this aircheck is crystal clear. Thank you again!

Due to the extreme expense of videotape at the time, NBC probably recorded over this historic game. However, there may be a copy of this game at a local NBC affiliate somewhere, waiting to be discovered.

@@DrewTechner Okay. If you have complete Nbc-Tv audio of Super Bowl I with Curt Gowdy and Paul Christman. and Super Bowl II CBS-audio with Ray Scott and Pat Summerall that would be excellent!

The Giants had their chance and should have won the game. They battled the great Packers twice and now took on the far lesser Bears. They just let it slip away.

The Giants lost because Tittle did not practice throwing on one leg .The Bears were dirty dogs going after Tittle's knees .
