1963 Rambler Hot Rod. Have you ever seen one?

In this video, the Garagefathers take a look at this little 1963 Rambler American Hot Rod. This car belongs to one of our good friends, and we hijacked it recently to see what makes it special. There is a lot to this car that makes it one of a kind, and really thrilling to drive.

That's a far cry from the old flathead 92 H.P. six banger. My neighbor drove one of those back and forth to work for over 20 years until it was totalled. Good little cars for their time.

In 1963 I'm walking down the street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I see a nice looking AMC Rambler pull away from the curb. Nice little commuter car, right? I was SHOCKED when he smoked the tires for a city block! Did you say "SLEEPER"?

my parents owned a auto 1963 Rambler American 440H and a 1962 Rambler American station wagon.

yeah, i don't think so....mopar thinks they've "adopted" amc, but diehard amc-ers don't feel the brotherhood, nor do they want to.
