2:26 What a beauty! 55 Buicks were the “poor man’s” Cadillac ..lol I was born in 1955, I can’t drive 55 because my ford ranger blew a gasket (or was that the Isuzu)? oh well, anyway, The Bus..😡 Craig’s list is gouging us on junkers.. But my son fixed the truck and then I gave it to him. I’m in Oregon, he was in Idaho Montana border. He passed away two weeks ago. He was 51 and loved by many because he loved many.. RIP Christopher James Aldrich My boy.

My maiden name is Coddington. I used to watch Boyd Coddington because I love old cars. We are not related (darn).. but he passed away what 15 yrs ago? Anyway,I also had a cop come to our door because my new stepson was a neighborhood little thief but a lovable one he was 12. Anyway cop introduced himself as detective CODDINGTON.. too funny .. I’ve had (good ) cops in the family but they had different names..lol Alhambra,Glendora,El Monte Ca. They gave more warnings back then, than arrests..😆 late 60’s 70’s etc… They both became well respected chiefs.. Thanks for reading this whomever. I’m just getting up there, live alone, talkative .. Never used to say poop if I had a mouthful, now I’m talking yourselves in virtual mode.. I love being a granny.. 😄

They had a Monterey, a MONTCLAIR and a Park Lane. I had a Montclair, white with red interior, 4 door hard top. What a beauty.

On the wall next to the drivers leg is an engine heater switch.. Where is the plug for that and how do you test it? I have one and was wondering after seeing your video.

My Dad brought home a brand new Oldsmobile Jet-Star-88 when I was around 12 years old, Circa 1966. It was the only new car he ever had.I remember it like it was yesterday, and I'm 70 years old. Sister automobile to the Jet Star. Bronze exterior, a real beauty. Unfortunately we drove it into Automobile Heaven. When I got my drivers license I drove it. It was so that fast it scared me. The cars of that time period did not handle all that well though, like today's cars. Still, I wish we had kept it.

That's an engine test stand that you can drive a short distance. Nice work if you like trailering every where you go.

My dad bought a 1962 around 1965. It had a torsion bar front suspension and a hydraulic clutch. I have seen other 1962 models that had coil springs on the front end. I have wondered why some were coils and some were torsion bars. I repainted it in 1968 because it had some rust pits on the bed. I was 16 years old and thought because it did a great job painting model cars that doing a real truck would be no problem. It did not shine. It was a good truck only had to change the fuel pump several times.

This hot rod is absolutely stunning! I know it's built mainly for show but i'm guessing it would do 0-60 in about 1 second and theoretical top speed would be over 200.

Fantastic Just SUPER great‼️✨ Thanks STACKS Most beautiful car Never seen a convertable before My Dad’s ‘66 390 saloon was black as well, with red interior BUT, it had electrical windows… On this one i see you have the ‘390’ emblem on the side down low behind the front wheels I was looking for that… Quite emotional now, i can admit🥂 👊🔥🪖💫

I inherited my grandfather's '63 Mercury Monterey when in high school. It had the 390 2bbl. It might be the quietest, and smoothest car I ever drove. The doors closed like a vault. Wish I still had it.
