Best GMT master video I've seen here, and I have seen most of them. Your info is accurate much more so than other guys. Proud owner of a 1965 GMT master gilt dial with beautifully faded pepsi bezel =) Thank you for the quality video.

I LOVE THIS WATCH!!! Ive been stalking it on you site for a while now. I’ve been searching for a 1963 1675 for about a year now. My dad was born in 63 and I would like to purchase one for his birthday sadly I don’t have the budget yet. This one is amazing because of its military history and condition

9:01 looks more like an ink pot in the shape of a military combat boot, toes side to the right with shoelaces on top right !

I wouldn't have thought that crown guards have any relation to water resistance other than the prevention of mechanical damage i.e. knocking the crown, and thus compromising the seal of the crown....
@georgehofgren6123 Жыл бұрын
What the crown screws onto is itself an insert threaded into the case. I believe the crown guards aren't so much for knocks as from general pressure upwards from the hand bones when worn on the Left wrist 😉 ~

Birth year watch would you rather have a 1989 1016 or a 16710?
@adbraham4 жыл бұрын
Is a private purchase of a watch by a guy who happened to be in the military “military provenance”, I’m not sure. If he was issued it BY the military, that would be a different matter.
