I bought me 64 4 door Impala replaced all the floor boards. Finished the back brakes, and working on the fount. I love it 4 doors doesn't mater.

You right man. Im on 2 groups on Facebook Crew cab mafia and moore door mafia. All 4 door guys. Very friendly and all have the same love for the 4 door cars As much as the 4 door cars get cannibalized by the 2 door guys, our 4 door ones will be very rare. Hold onto it my friend.

I just bought a 64 Impala, that's been one of my dream cars, my Uncle bought a 409 64 Impala right after coming back from Vietnam in 68 and I pretty much grew-up in that car going back and forth to school. Mine's a 2 door but it's not the same color, mine is green and his was Orange and mine has a 305 and automatic trans that the guy I bought it from's dad put in out of a 81 Caprice after his mom wrecked the Caprice. I;m not going to do anything thing other than clean it up, repaint it and drive it.

In Canada, the Biscayne was also called a Pontiac Strato Chief, with a 261 c.i.d std. (a bored out 235 c.i.d), it wasn't a wide tracking Catalina.

Great work 👏🏾 I have a 64 2 door with the same engine but what distributor did you get for it? U kept the same transmission 3 speed power glider?

Thanks man. Its a Jegs HEI distributor. My car is a standard transmission 3 on the tree. I wasn't gonna drop a new engine or transmission in it because it's a 4 door. I already got at least $7,000 in it in restoration. Still getting air ride and be rims and tires and door panels. Another 5k to go.

I had a 67' belair 250'six 4 Dr. 3 on tree. Same basic engine as yours. I used to be a 2 door guy until I got this one . I have had all 4doors the last 40 years. I call em crew cabs. These are the kind of cars that should be made today no frills . You can repair them with minimum tools

Yeah, it's a 3 on the tree. Love it. It is supposed to be out of paint around the 25th of January. And February my door panels should be in also. Hoping to be ready for mardi gras.

Thanks! It's in the body shop now getting her paint job. 63 is a beautiful car to. Nothing like those long body lines and the points in the front and back fender.

Dude, its still in the shop. It actually looks worse than it did going in. He's supposed to be painting it this week. I can tag you when it's done. I have a bunch of work to do. All the chrome to install. Might make a video installing it all. Thanks for checking in.
