This is another beautiful Impala like the yellow one from yesterday. Love the wrinkle tops on these hardtop cars. Works of art from the 60's. All the chrome and details in body shaping. These cars were made for looking at, driving, racing, hauling the family and now 50 plus years later, restoring and collecting. Love these cars!!!

I don't know who the commenters are as I scroll down and I am not sure what they are looking at. I know that this add is over a year old and the car is long gone but if someone paid the asking price they got screwed. And this dealer bought it from someone and they got screwed, unless they are responsible for the shoddy work. The yellow one was a really nice car. Maybe the color is not your cup of tea, but the car looked really good. This one has been beat to shit and is a rust bucket. Sorry I missed the undercarriage photos. This has the wrong flags on the front fenders, they are from a 63. I know, I had one and my friend had a 64. The trunk and surround does not have the machined insert that an SS should have, maybe rear-ended?. It is Impala trim and the trunk lid is full of rust, just like the hood. Someone tried to hide it but it's still there. Both the driver and passenger doors have rust or crash repair on the lower part & all the way along the bottom and up the sides. The doors do not match the rocker panels. Horrible lines. You can see where the door skin is coming away from the door and what he claimed as wax, was body filler as well as possible rocker panel repairs. There was some wax, but not where I'm talking about. The quarter panels on both sides have had repaired all along them from crashes or scrapes on the body line that sticks out. The upper part at the wheel wells is really bad. You can tell at the wheel wells where they have been smoothed out with filler. There have been patch repairs in the trunk and there is rust everywhere. He mentioned the rear window may leak. If it is all rusted out under the chrome then yea, it will leak. The bottom of the driver door is rusty. The door seal has been glued on to the bottom of the door. The package tray looks like it has been leaked on or moist. There is also damage at the top of the A pillar going into the top, left side. I cannot see a close up of the right side A pillar but I wouldn't be surprised if this car was rust first, then was in at least one crash, possibly rolled over on the left A pillar. If you can see it on camera, it's likely worse in person. Someone wanted to cobble this thing together and make a bunch of money. Hell, it may have been in a junk yard. Sorry about this but I just had to do it. It really pisses me off when people get screwed over by someone (this dealer by the previous owner) who was a total ass. Unless these guys are shady. Why did they buy this pig? This is a complete do over, except most, not all, of the interior.

The 2 64 ss I had with the 4 speed did not have a shifter like that has. They had a silver ball with a small lever on both sides that you had to pull up in order to put it in reverse. Unless it was an option, something is not right with this car... Why do people insist on putting them ugly gauges under the dash.

most add those gauges because this model car only came with "dummy lights" warning lamps that co.e on sometimes too late, with proper gauges you can observe your cars temp, oil pressure and volts accurately.
