Sorry for the long lapse guys. We ended up selling the house where the camper was parked and I was forced to move it to a new location and focus on the house renovations. At least 3-4 more videos coming soon once I edit them.

Omg, those bow-tie looking screws...I have them on this Layton unit of mine (13-footer, not sure what year, 59-61 I think, titled as "2000 homemade trailer"). I showed one to my friend, who is very experienced in life, shall we say. He told me, "Damn, Gracie, you may actually own a bunch of screws for which I have no bit...amazing!" 😅 ("I bet you wish now you'd saved that last worn-out #2 Phillips you threw out". Did even better: found a broken 2" flathead with which to make one.) So far, a worn Phillips bit has done ok. THANKS FOR THE VID!!!

Yeah I was actually able to find bits for them - they are called Clutch Bits

They are called crutch bit, and you can still buy them online but from what I gather they are no longer manufactured at scale

@@RoccosModernLifestyle Actually they are called "clutch head" screws and the bits to remove them are called clutch head bits.

You've already ruined this camper. You NEVER pull the paneling off from the inside. That is not how they were built. All the structural integrity has been removed now and you can't fix it. Just take it to the dump. Otherwise it will fall apart on the freeway at 60mph and someone might be klled. You will be responsible when it happens.

@mobiltec How else would you do it? Just asking, not trying to be insulting.

Mitch Temple you take them apart from the outside inward, take the metal off, then the walls, go check out his channel! Mobiltec, he shows you how to do this properly, and not ruin a nice vintage trailer.

So to renovate the interior of a camper, you have to take the siding off? I want to re-do the floors and walls in my 70’s camper, but not the siding. Is this possible?
