I agree for “out of the box” performance but I find them hard to dial in compared to a Holley. That being said I’ve got over 20 years dyno experience tuning Holley stuff and some of that is beyond the capabilities of mechanics without machining equipment so I understand why they’re favoured. Most Holley stuff doesn’t work out of the box...

@@FlatBroke612 Great to hear back from you. I admire your patience and skill. I have always found Hollies very touchy. I can make them work, but not perform. I know that what I am going to say sounds pretty stupid, but, I have had great success with modifying Quadrjets. Most likely it is because they have a lot more slop built into them.
