Man I wish I could have helped you sooner but I just saw your video. There's an old trick that I was taught. You disconnect all your bulbs you turn on your Amber lights, which runs power to them and you start by putting in the bulb in front of the driver side and you go to the passenger side and then you go to the back passenger light and you follow through all the way to the left driver side. (Basicaly in a clock wise direction) I don't know why but it seems that the power/curremt runs in that order until it reaches the last Light Behind the driver side. (Bulb basicsly acts as a fuse) If one of your light bulbs go out you replace it and if it happens again, then you take out each bulb or disconnected so its not grounded behind the one u replaced going torwards driverside back lights one at a time. Basically the current is following you as you put each bulb in until you get to the driver side. Make sure they're all properly on so they're grounded well. Try your blinkers to the left and then to the right and then try your brake pedal. Most of the time the front blinkers work but the back is where everybody has the problems, because the current goes from the front driver side to the front passenger side and then to the back passenger light in sequence all the way to the back driver side. I hope I explained well I've done this plenty of times and it seems to reset .

Is your console original for 4-speed? If not,where did you get it? I have 64 ss w factory 4 speed and factory tach on dashboard. Someone cut the side of console to fit non factory linkage. I put back factory linkage and shifter. Now need replacement console.

Usually the switches fuses and relays need replacement.

Definitely went through those Avenues unfortunately my wires are in bad condition and frayed just made a separate wire harness to not have to ever deal with my brake lights until I get American wire all redone

@@fireflamez408 yes make sure to prevent electrical fire which caused the Pontiac Fiero to have a recall, that you use the same gauge thickness of wire as the original or a bit thicker strands are good solid wire better.

Im guessing they were just simple & no technology. Its starts at the dash & signal wentt clockwise - each bulb was like a fuse. For some reason it interuptes the signal & it needs to be reset or redone starting with the light that was replaced & then going in a Clockwise direction.

Not brake lights the amperage on brake lights very minimal voltage what will I will tell you is is going through an old fuse box that's what will cause you a fire temporary fix until all brand new wiring gets put in the car rather save money the wiring done in prevent getting a traffic ticket especially when it's dealing with a brake light super simple

Just seeing this video today. Obviously without seeing the vehicle I can only assume, but I believe both of your guys issues are a bad turn signal switch. Your brake lights go through the turn signal switch so when you have a turn signal on it cancel the brake for that side. I just did mine on my 65. Not a bad job, but you do have to pull the steering wheel.
