1965 Buick 401 Nailhead running for first time in nearly 40 years!

This is a wildcat 445 out of a 1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport. I recently picked this car up in a local junkyard where it spent almost 40 years. I gave up trying to get it running in the car because of various issues, but it runs today! I did take the oil pan off and clean it out before trying to run it. The starter kept kicking out because the flex plate was deflecting without being bolted to the torque converter.

I spent many a mile in a 401 nailheaded 1965 buick riviera single quad, switch pitch turbo 400. Red on Black, wire hubcaps, glass packs rappin a sweet note. 11.25 to 1 compression, and time on my side. What a car
