Show quality restoration throughout. There is over $60,000 invested in this SS. They started with a clean California, numbers matching, genuine Super Sport. I drove it home, it also functions like a new car.
EXTERIOR: California car with an excellent body, all the panels fit square and flush. The hood, doors and trunk open with ease and click shut. Smooth all along the bottoms, no bubbles. Repainted it's original gorgeous Danube blue color. It is laser beam straight and looks like you could dive right into it. It's also very glossy. All of the trim looks new and it sparkles. Up front the grill, moldings, bumper shine bright. On each side the emblems, bowtie mirrors, door handles look new. All the stainless around the glass is straight and polished. The vent windows have beautiful chrome. In back the whole tail panel, bumper and emblems sparkle. Door jambs are painted slick and glossy. New weatherstrips, window seals and sill plates. The glass is clear, windshield is new. It has some beautiful 15 inch Foose wheels with BF Goodrich tires.
INTERIOR: It's glossy and sparkly inside too! The whole instrument panel is new chrome. All the metal is painted medium blue as slick as the outside. Has a new dash pad, beautiful deluxe two spoke wood grain wheel. It has factory bucket seats with console. The console has bright chrome. All new two tone upholstery with new cushions. New door panels, armrests, window cranks. All the trim in the car- around the rear window, up the pillars are mint. The headliner is new and tight as a drum with matching visors. The mirror is new. They did add blue seat belts front and back. There is a chrome, 3 gauge cluster below the dash. It also has a retro stereo that fits right in the dash. Inside the glove box is spotless and it has a working light. New carpet with some nice Chevelle rubber floor mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow! That is what everyone will say when you open the hood. It's all glossy and sparkly under the hood. Original #s correct 283. Runs perfect, has a polished aluminum intake with a new Holley 4-barrel with electric choke. Lots of chrome including the power brake system, alternator and water pump. It also has polished aluminum valve covers and pin striped air cleaner. Features include cold factory air conditioning, power steering and new power brake system. The steering couplers, wiper motor and much more looks new. The battery is properly bolted down, has disconnect switch.

My first car ! I payed $200 for it. I was 18. Jesus I wish I still had it. It was not perfect like that one, mine was 16 yrs old at the time. LOL ! Mine was 283 as well, one of the best small block V-8's ever. This video about make me cry.

Sharp Malibu!!!! Numbers matching and it has the 283 "power pack" (4bbl and a dual exhaust), underrated motor! The restoration looks quality and last but not least, it sounds right!!! The only thing I would change are the wheels.
