1965 Ford Mustang GT - Install Kill / Shutoff Switch

This video will show you how to install a shut off switch or kill switch on any car with a distributor.
To hide the switch in plain site, I used a Fog Light Switch, the same as the original and installed it along side the real Fog Light Switch. This way it looks like each fog light has its own switch.
I soldered all the wire connectors so they cannot disconnect. I also tested the new fog light switch so you know what connectors to use.
A hole was drilled through the fire wall in order to run the wires.

You can do it. Start with the easy jobs first then when you get more confident, you can do harder jobs.

The easiest way is to short out the - side of the coil. Connect a wire from the - side of the coil to one side of the switch inside the car then connect a second wire from the other side of the switch to a ground. Use an existing screw that goes through metal under the dash for ground.
