I have a white 66, mine is an inline 6 for now and has blue interior. I'm changing the rusty panels and floor at the moment. The people I bought it from had redone the seats and had an entire new interior, from the headliner all the way down to the kick panels and they also give me another drivers door and 2 new bumpers! The car ran and drove. Not bad for $3900

Yes on my 67 negative is orange pos is a black cable .. Looks like they bypassed the heater core at some point, Im curious why they put a valve in their bypass hose? Why would you want valve off the coolant through that?

Sounds stupid, but you said you were capping off all vaccumm lines, try plugging the one on the backside of the intake back on, that should be into the modulator on the transmission. Could very well be your reason for no gears!

10:45...I did similar back in the day I was picking up my ‘66 from the PO...the entire engine compartment flashed and burnt underneath the hood, as well as melting EVERY piece of wire under the hood. BE CAREFUL!!!
