I love this channel, ,My best friend over 30 years ago he bought a 1964 300 "K", letter series car that was in boxes etc., He put it together over a short time and we drove it everywhere, car shows etc. It had the Long Ram intake 2- 4 barrels full console to the back, what a beautiful car, he was amazing at fixing cars and got me into it and been a Mopar fan every since, I would love to see that 1964 ,300 " k " on this channel. If possible do a series of the 10 years of letter cars,. Thank You very much

I prefer the ´66 over the ´58. Very clean like the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Monaco of the same year. Also, the ´65 models had hybrid transmission controls: No pushbuttons, but still the little cables. They got that sorted in 1966.

Very interesting. I was 4 and already a car nut when the 65s were new. I'm surprised they did not make more of the Fury II, Fury III and Sport Fury 2 door hardtop models. They were very sharp indeed. As an aside, there was no Fury I in Canada. The entry level full sized Plymouth was called Savoy for the last time. It was surprisingly common to find these cars with the 225 slant 6. It was not up to the job, and the fuel consumption was nothing to boast about. The 318 used less gas! Still, these are one of my favourite Plymouth designs. Virtually every car on the market was a new design or a serious update, and almost every one was a real winner.

My first car was a 2nd hand Canary yellow 66 Fury lll 4 door that was special ordered from Mopar with a 383 Commando , 4 on the floor Muncy shifter , and 3:57 positrac rear. It was one of the fastest , most powerful factory cars I've ever seen . Turned 12 sec.quarter mile , burned continuous rubber for 1/10 of a mile , breaking the tires loose in 1 , 2 , 3rd. There was no luxury anything really...an ugly cheap vinyl interior..but it was a great car that took the drag racing beating I gave it for over 200k miles , replacing only clutches , brakes and tires. It ran with the Ford Galaxies 390 V8's , Chevy SuperSports 396 V8's , and the Roadrunners , Chargers , GTX's , and Pontiac GTO Judge consistently.

Needs more cowbell and drum. 1965: Plymouth Fury finally matched Ford and Chevy in size. Fortunately they still offered the Belvedere and Satellite which were plenty big for most folks. The rear overhang in the Fury wagon would drag on the ground if loaded or going up a sloped driveway. We had one...would scrape the rear often...it needed air suspension.

Back then real men drove big cars. What's with this economy size crap? Men didn't care about gas mileage. My late father didn't even care about power steering. In '64 or '65 my dad bought himself a brand new Sport Fury for soul purpose street racing it. This often resulted resulted in running from the cops. He was the 1st owner, I *_am_* the 2nd.

What we have here is a dealer information presentation. The idea is to help the dealer sell the automobile. The automobile the dealer will be selling is the Plymouth automobile. The filmstrip touts the features of the car to enhance his success. In fact, the more of these Plymouth automobiles the dealer sells the more money he and the motor company will make. Everyone from the janitor back there where the dirty mechanics stink up the toilet to the executives in Detroit are all depending on the dealer to sell the car. Additionally he will be chewed out in the back room or let go by the sales manager if he doesn’t sell the car. Greater appreciation needs to be extended to the dealer by the buying public. Unlike school teachers whom powerful Democrat unions have convinced to stay home even after they are placed at the front of the line to receive the Wuhan vaccine, the dealer doesn’t get paid if he doesn’t sell the automobile. His family doesn’t eat, his children don’t have shoes, and he doesn’t have a place for them to live. If he jacks up the price a few dollars by adding on an undercoating charge or some other extra who would blame him?
