This is when General Motors built very high quality vehicles. The quality and the attention to detail on these cars was outstanding.

Some of those 60's Pontiacs had beautiful lines and were like oceanliners. That car makes you wanna weep.

Friend of mine had a '66 Bonneville convertible, a 389, 8 lug wheels...gorgeous and red and silky smooth. God's car if He drove one.

My dad bought one of these of the same color of introduction day in Barstow. The sales person wanted to keep the car on the show room as an example; but my dad said “forget it.!” I loved driving it, but those things were so big! It had the 421 big block in it

Nice. The color's on this one hit home base. IMO the best "B" body ever designed. Pure Pontiac!

When Pontiac made great looking cars not shitboxes. My grade school teacher had this exact car about 48 years ago. He looked like a square but he looked cool as F behind the wheel of that beauty

As an Italian car guy who likes Europeans, this car is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, a bit like the Buick Riviera, but maybe nicer. That design is timeless and just stunning, really I am speechless.

This was John DeLorean’s prime. Everyone knows him for developing the GTO then later on his own car, but he was all Pontiac in the 60’s and brought out this wide track design on the Grand Prix making the stance wider and the car lower.

2 years before I was born. I watch "My Three Sons" Mon through Fri on Metv every morning which they show a lot of Pontiac cars including station wagons which Pontiac Motor Division provided Pontiac's for the show.

It looks exactly like the GP on Motor Trend's 1965 Car of the Year issue. The 1965 Pontiacs were Car of the Year.

Nice car. Back in the day I drove one like this one (except it was red) on vacation from OH to FL and back and it was an excellent driver. Rode great, drove great, just a joy to travel in. I remember that trunk light had enough wire to reach the engine. A lot of people back then put bug screens on these big cars when traveling south. They were made to fit whatever make of car that you had. Keeping cars cool on trips back then was a big issue.
