Timecode 2:06 -- Can you tell me if the 69 Caprice/Impala 4 Door is available? :) It was an interesting car for me to restore in an Father & Son Project. I´m still working on my 67 Caprice 4 Door Hardtop with my Dad, in a full restoration by our own hands. Rebuild the whole wheel arches at the front fenders, the lower windsiehld frame, the Quarter Panels with also hand made Dog Legs (4Dr) and such ares, all made with self made new sheet metal. A lot of difficult sheet metal work, but in my eyes it´s worth it, because such an vintage car isn´t market value, it´s the personal value i think :) And so especially 4 Door Hardtops are my favorite Bodysyle of US Mid-Full size Cars, like this particular ´69 Impala/Caprice in this Video/Yard, too! :) It was so nice to get more knowledge of this particular car, like a Video about the condition and what i should do to bing it back into a nice condition :) It was nice to hear from you about this, best regards & greetings from bavaria (germany), have a very nice day! :) Cheers Till

For me it´s a litle ifficult to get cars or parts from places like this, even bevause i live at bavaria, germany, or even; Over the Pond ;) But in my heart i´m a real US Car Enthusiast, especially for the larger 4 Door Hardtop cars, where isn´t that interest in at USA i know; what´s also sad, because in my eyes these cars as so many out on the American roads back then...and today mostly 2 Doors and Muscles are these of peoples interest. So it´s also a heart love of me to safe such larger sized 4Dr US Classic cars. And if i could safe one more example like this 69 Impala 4 Dr Hardtop here shown in next to this 65 Pontiac Grand Prix, i think it would be a nice job. Also for my 71 years old Dad and me, to bring back this particular car back to life again, even because now i got the skills to rebuild sheet metal parts of the Body like we´ve done with the Front Fenders on our 67 Caprice, too. I know most people would change such body prts like an front fender into a better ones because it´s a lot more easy. But not for me, because i think it would be also so nice again with a rebuild front fender, when it´s done with the right kind of Sheet Metal Work. :) That could also safe parts and whole cars for people what hasn´t got that skills. I hope i´ll learn to paint whol cars, because that´s this kind of work what i can´t do (untill this time :)) However, it was so nice to listen from you, if i could get this particular 69 Impala 4 Dr Hardtop, with a little more pics of it, that i could think about what i have to do on it...to bring it back to life again Love to see people are safeing such cars, even because it´s importand, espcially also for the next gen. of car guys and car entusiastic people. It was great to hold such "Junk Yards" or Places alive, especially because it´s often the only chance for many real car enthusiastic people, restorers and fathers with sons to get an Project car what they could aford to restore with their skills (or get the skills with such cars and Projects, too) :) However, have a great day! Cheers Till

GP has a reverb switch under dash. Should be a metal box in trunk behind rear seat. Fairly rare option on the mid 60s Pontiacs! Bill

What’s interesting to see from a lifelong resident of Wisconsin is the fact that any of these long neglected vehicles even exist. Here in the rust belt, the lives of many a vehicle were claimed prematurely.
