While I dearly love all iterations of the Shelby Cobra, my first choice would be this one. Pure, elemental, and more than enough power. Now if I can only win a lottery!!

What a car! 300 hp is loads for a 2200 pound car. Too bad this dope is driving with one hand, phone in the other.

keep both hands on the steering wheel, except for shifting. the 289 is one of my Favs to double the HP on. 400 HP/6000RPM street fighter Engines.

You're not seriously driving that car with your left arm holding the phone ! Pretty reckless and l've no doubt the car is not yours ! Mmm. ....

VERY irresponsible to drive while holding camera. Grow up before you hurt someone there is no excuse

Hey Nomen or what ever you are, tell that to the parents of kid you run over, I was just getting a good shot. Irresposible people piss me off.

The only thing word is the people using computers while driving, I cannot imagine a more dangerous driving condition. I have often seen these terrors to sociaty taking down licence plates and looking up personal 💻 information about other drivers, we have to get these people calling them selves police 🚨🚓 📴 the streets!

@@johnarthur6367 I don’t mind people who drive with one hand, I do it all the time. But holding a phone in his other hand? Now that’s irresponsible.

love the 289 - the balance shelby!

Always like the 289 body style, without the side pipes and the steroid musculature of the 427 model. Coupled with the fact that the 289 model is the one that won most of the races

I have an original air cleaner for your Cobra if you are interested.

My ‘67 Sunbeam Tiger has a similar 289 growl (kissing cousins both engineered by Shelby :). The Cobras curves are prettier!

What a sweet sound of an American true sport car, wow! And it's only a 289! Imagine a 427, incredible!

@Nomen Clature I agree! It was the same with 60's era Covettes, the small block was sweeter car IMHO.

@@Lee-cs67 The Cobras that Carroll Shelby got a hold of weren’t just AC Cars with Ford 289 engines thrown in them. Carroll changed almost everything in the suspension and heavily modified the chassis. This car is the result of both British and American efforts 🇬🇧🇺🇸

The 289 was the more successful race car on track.
