The guy wearing #4 for Boston is Albert Langlois. This was his only season with Boston. He's the answer to a great Bruins' trivia question: Who was the last player before Bobby Orr to wear #4 for the Bruins?

After Bobby Orr wore #4, the Bruins retired the number; after Junior Langlois wore #4, they retired the player.

I miss the days of PA announcers talking in a normal voice instead of shouting at ear-splitting volume.

And it's nice to hear the fans talking during stoppages in play instead of ear-splitting rock noise coming from the PA system.

In that clip of Brit Selby from his first game, it looks as though he has two shiners, but I suspect it's charcoal under his eyes, although the installation of brighter lights for colour TV was still a year or two in the future.

Then again, it might just be shadows caused by the lighting they had then.
