1966-10-04 Red Skelton Show GS: Godfrey Cambridge, Jackie and Gayle

Much Ado About Nagging - George Appleby answers an ad to be a squirrel in a nightclub. He gets a job as a waiter. He gets his tie caught in a squirrel's zipper as wife Clara comes in. Louis, a performer who insults marriage, is promised a job if he can come up with good material. George invites him to come over and observe Clara. In the meantime, Clara decides she has been too mean to George. George finally provokes her and Louis gets his insults. Clara goes to the nightclub and is furious with George. He and she launch a new act. 1: Monologue, jokes about prices. Jokes about miniskirts. 2: Pantomime, Girl putting on a mini-dress for the first time. 3: Silent Spot, At The Beach. Red goes to the beach looking for a girl. He finds a dish and tries everything but she ignores him finally leaving with an old man. A bevy of beauties comes in and he shows off. They are not impressed and he turns his surfboard into an ironing board and irons.
