I believe these are the same hinges as the 1967 Buick Riviera. The hinges were designed too weak for the weight and length of the hood. The right hinge always makes the rear of the hood set up too high. I’ve also seen other Riviera‘s with the same problem, on the right side. My springs were chromed years ago, but they have lost their strength. Can you rebuild the hinges and restrengthen, or repair the springs?

so that's fine for the side to side movement but if you have a worn out rivet hole and there is movement at the joint you need to drill them out and use oversize rivets i believe?
