My Dad had a 67 wildcat...his first brand new car. It had th3 next generation, 430ci, 4bbl. 360hp...It was very fast, despite it's large size. He kept that car for 22 years, and 320,000 miles...finally, a drunk rear-ended it, bending the frame. Dad was very emotional as that vehicle was towed to the junkyard.

Greeting! I am new to your channel. I am a lover of old Buicks. My first car was a '62 Wildcat. To see that 401 nail head under the hood brought back a lot of memories. My Buick had the dyna flow trans and I prefer the one in your '66 which is the super turbine 400. I wish I would have know about your Buick a year ago. I just might have purchased it. Look forward to viewing more of your videos and checking out your website. Great job on the video and attention to detail! When buying a classic car you really have to do your homework. You covered most all the important factors that I would be looking at in considering a purchase.

does the buick wildcat of the 1965 have sidelights?
@calvinl97275 жыл бұрын
Dad had one just like it, it was so dark blue that it looked black. When he did burnouts the smoke would come in the car via the courtesy lights..lol

So inspiring to see a car of that age in that good original shape if or when I'm able to get a car that I want I want one that looks like the one you got I can tell that's original because I know vehicles really well n seen thousands also under neath it also I'm gonna have dreams about it for days the engine sound also tells alot if you know what to listen for that one has the old buick sound they have when taken care of. Very very nice I didn't look when this was shot but do you still have it if so I'd be interested in it I've got a good amount and if I had to could get the rest lmk thankyou very much that was a very good video to especially the underneath part most don't do that. Thanks again for the videos

Yes, it is a nice looking Buick and they did a nice job on the car. But it fell short on finishing off where the bondo is popping out. The camera pans across area's like the bottom of the fender/rockers where they meet at. Lots of bad gaps on the rear windows moldings, also the door gaps are WAY far off.
@blueovalranch6 жыл бұрын
Yeah they didn’t get it perfect, but over solid, and affordable.

Definitely an under appreciated car. Does need some different rims and tires though

The wildcat emblem's on mine are in cursive does that make it a wildcat custom???

It’s a very nice car but ,wow, for a Wildcat it’s really a stripper! No Air Conditioning, Power Windows or anything else. Standard interior etc. if it was a Le Sabre this would be expected.

Would you be interested in selling this Wildcat? I would pay top dollar since it was the exact same care and color as my Dad had when I was a child.

My father owned this identical car. It was stolen from in front of our home with my toys in the back seat. We never got the car back. Whoever now owns this car, are you interested in selling it? My dad is 84 now. He'd be thrilled to see it.

Not to be picky, but it would've been nice to view the inevitable & inescapable surface rust one finds in all older trunks before that was hidden under a couple coats of spackle paint. It may not appear so but the taillights/turn signals should ALL be lit w/lights on, w/the outboard turn signals AND both taillights going BRIGHT when applying the brakes. ALSO, gotta' get a "wind snuffer" on that microphone when narrating inside the car.....nothing more aggravating than wind noise overriding the narration(s)!
@dontellgucci11177 жыл бұрын
M21L35 No I wouldn't call you picky, something else but not picky. I thought the car was represented honestly. As for the trunk it was definitely shown in it's actuality
