OMG, I saw for the first time in years the Santa Fe sign on top of the old Santa Fe building. Man it has been years because it has since ( SIGN ON TOP OF THE BUILDING) been removed. My mother took my sister and I in that building back in 1971. We were purchasing tickets to ride the Santa Fe (FIRST CLASS) on our first trip to California in the summer of 1971. That visual has been in my mind for years. I recall have trying to locate the sign several years while taking pictures of downtown. I looked everywhere and realized the sign was probably taken down unfortunately years ago. The building is now called something else and not the Santa Fe building anymore.
