at 4:18, it sounds like you almost got plowed into. it doesn't seem to matter what condition of car, the 2 piece silver plastic trim that lines the upper speedometer never joins flush, mine is the same. I've never seen one that is flush.

Elwood Engel became director of styling at Chrysler Corp in 1961. He is responsible for so many great cars, including the '66 Chrysler. I was impressed with its looks when new, as well as many other Imperials, Dodges, and Plymouths that were designed under his direction from the mid '60's to early '70s.
