Buy another while you still can….take a trip down south and pick up a survivor. 😄

Awesome another video, that muffler looks like mine. Haha got another issue i found today on the fan housing. It's what they call the stale air flow with the throttle ring. I have the bracket and spring but missing the air flow ring. Trying to find one is impossible. Guess will just go with the normal setup.

@@TimsWorkshopTJY I don’t know what they look like or how that set up works. You might try aircoolin.com or write to Musti1 or MX5150 on KZbin. They might know.

Will do, i just got done watching your video and you crack me up. That was a great "Will it Run" can't wait for your next video. Oh I lost out on the free engine but there will be more and I'll probably be more ready to jump on it next time

The 1300cc SP & DP engines were available in Europe up to the late 70's.

@ same way in Russia… $100 import tax for every 100cc…. So each liter is $1000 passed 1700 cc. So a 5.3 Tahoe …. About $3600 import tax.

Wacky tailpipes. If you look at aftermarket cylinder tin you'll see that some of them don't have the air deflector wedge spot welded to the inside ( single ports may not have it, dual ports do ). I would have just disassembled that last engine you did and carefully kept track of where all the bearings and pistons go, probably not even remove the connecting rods. Clean it all up and reassemble it.

Brian, Yes…that seems to be a nice engine. I probably will just take it apart and clean things up. Problem is all the sludge inside. I don’t know what it will look like until I open it up. That being a B case engine, it’s going to go into the green beetle in the back yard. My next project.
