Buick introduced a modern, new V-8 in 1967 and ‪@musclecarcampy9922‬ drives the first super car to use it. Best of all, it has a stick and lots of options.

In October of 1966 I special ordered a 1967 Buick GS 400 and took possession of it in mid December. It was a blue hardtop with a black vinyl top and black vinyl bench seat. It had the 400 engine and that great air cleaner with the double scoop and a 4 speed stick. I burned lots of rubber with it.

Carefree days with optional safety features, such as head rests and seat belts! As a kid in the sixties I sat in a metal seat which hooked over the front seat between my parents that had a metal unpadded make believe steering wheel attached on the bar in front of my own seatL Priceless!

Magnifico!!! Love the rake that car has! I think that paint is the same as Pontiac's Black Cherry. Mercury also had a Black Cherry. My buddy's bench/4 speed '67 GS400 convertible once outran a police car - back when they were driving Fairmonts. It's a garage queen today. GM hit it out of the park all around, with their '64-'72 A bodies - and especially during '66-'69, styling-wise. (Of course we CAN'T ignore 1970...)

I had a friend of mine had 2 of these back in the mid 70s. One was blue with a white bench seat and the automatic trans. It was very fast. Sold it and then bought a black with black bucket seats,4 speed I don't think it had a console I told him at the time that he should keep it because you just didn't see many 4 speed cars but he sold it anyway. Good video I really enjoy your channel!!

Always liked the looks of the ‘66&’67 GS models. Over $4400 in 1967 for a car like this was big bucks. All the other comparable GM muscle cars were less expensive.

My dad bought his first new car in 1967...A wildcat, with that hunky 4304bblV8...It was a large car, but would move down the road like a muscle car! He owned it for 22 years, put 320,000 miles on that rugged Buick.

@@golfer78100 Hi Mike, nice collection first of all. I missed the part of the video because I paused it cause the furosemide kicked in. I remember those cars when I was little when I was at Waldron and my friends Dad would pick him up in a new Buick all the time. Can’t wait to see what other jewels you have, when you get over here to Sarasota maybe we can play some golf. Bobby Jones is almost complete.

@@golfer78100 That’s cool Mike, it’s funny that all the cars when I was a teenager are now worth a boat load. Buick and Olds and AMC not as popular as the Chevelle’s and Camaro’s Vette’s and all the Ford heavyweights. Actually my favorite is The Machine. Wild paint job from when I was younger and still could hold its own on the street. But it was also different and that was what the car culture is, being different. Thank You for Your Kindness and showing us your babies. Lol…

Absolutely stunning. What a great example for Buick to join the hot-rod craze with. This car has "almost" everything the way I would've ordered it. (If I was financially sound..in 67). The color combo is how I would've colored my GTO. And of course, it has the all important 4 spd. (Being a New Englander, I would've opted out the A/C). Wonder what rear gear Buick put in these cars? Back in 77, I was doing over my 65 Goat, and I came across a gold one of these, with a stick, in a bone yard. In running condition. For $400. In decent visual shape. Not sure if it was a 66 or 67 tho. Had to pass on it. Thanks for posting another great one Campy.

Oh how I wish for a time machine which can haul cars... When I was doing my kitchen in my house, I came acrossed some 1974 newspapers in the wall, which had been stuffed into a plaster repair. There were two C2 Corvettes in the classifieds for $1000 or less! One of them might've been a convertible too!
