I'm driving 2014 XTS. Cadillac. Told I'm in the last true automobile engineering of a GM Cadillac.

XTS was front wheel drive. The CT6 was real Cadillac engineering. The XTS and Impala were remnants of the GM10 program

And it rode and drove like a dream. My aunt and uncle had a 67 Fleetwood Brougham and wow, it was a sweet ride. They had always had Cadillacs... a 66 (they hated that one) and a 59 Coupe de Ville also in black. I remember the '59 well, but the '67 was one of the best. My aunt drove it long after my uncle passed away. She traded that in sometime later and she got a Buick because it was smaller. But the '67 had the small writing desks in the seats for the rear passengers and the folding down foot rests for the passenger's comfort. It even had an option (factory or after market I do not know) that would roll up the windows if it started to rain. Crazy stuff for '67. Beautiful car, there... the color looked flawless. Good review!

THIS is a spectacular car! And your explanation of the taillights was superb! I never realized the backup lights were the lower portion of the diamond taillights. I daily drive a 1994 Eldorado and I love it. I was a little kid in the 1970s and was highly influenced by my aunt and uncle who each bought a new Cadillac every 3 or 4 years. And a couple new Cadillacs in the 1980s. They also had Cadillacs in the 1960s, including a 1967 Eldorado, but that was essentially before my time. My dad was in the Air Force stationed in Alaska for a short while in the 1950s. Dad and my mom drove home to Pennsylvania in a 4 door 1950s Cadillac. That drive was approximately 4,075 miles! Thank you sir for this video!

Hey, stay tuned! Because over the next 6 weeks I'm going to upload more videos. And I have one video when I was at the show last Sunday where it had several rolls of Cadillacs I didn't get to get the second row of Cadillacs but I did get the first row so I'm going to upload those in four separate parts and you going to like those because yeah I'm going to have a 1947 limousine, 1970 1977 a bunch of 80s eldorados, 1964 Coupe deVille and later 80s-90s DeVilles. You may like it.

It was a business decision. GM could make more money on the Tahoe than the B body. You gotta agree once they were able to flesh out the 2nd gen Escalade that light truck platform became a cashcow. But more to the point, you gotta subscribe. I had recorded two more like this from 1966 and 1967. A black on black 2 door convertible 1966 which was the original El Dorado. Just like this one says FLEETWOOD on the fender the 2 door convertible would say ELDORADO. And then once the Eldo became its own model it returned to be a Coupe DeVille for 1967.

And also I was talking to a guy today and I may get his 96 Roadmaster. I was looking for the Oldsmobile version but they are the rarest. I didnt like the 93-96 Fleetwood. It was clunky looking compared to the new Town Car and Chrysler New Yorker/LHS

The Electra shared no stampings, nor did any other car. All GM full sized shells were unique aside from roof panels and glass.

Floor pans in the passenger compartment, trunk pan to the rear quarter drop behind the wheel of the body, firewall, the C pillar roof support and the rear deck for the speaker mounts and trunk hinges were all the same.
