I had a 67 impala terrific car, one of the best cars I ever heard in my life. It was a year old and I bought it and was a dealer demo and I did not know this particular impala existed at the time or I would’ve tried to find one terrific cars, and to me 67 was one of the absolute best years

Wow, my grandad had a green 67 with a factory 327 4 bl carburetor. Even though he owned several impala's, this was my favorite. Thanks for posting. Bringing back great memories right now.

My dads was almost identical other than different hood and had a white interior. It was also a 283 SS which may be rare i'm not sure there. Only one I ever saw though. I cried when I was a kid and he sold it to my grandpa and the back seat burned up right through the convertible top :(

In 1977 I had one - same color but black interior and a hardtop, 427 4 speed, I even had the original window sticker - bought it for $650 and sold it a year later for $750 LOL good ol days !

Beautiful car. Here's a bit of trivia about this car. Some people don't know that it's not an "Impala", although it is tempting to call it one, since it is the same body. But the name "Impala" does not appear on this car anywhere. The correct name of the car is just a Chevrolet SS 427. It was option code Z24. It is different from an Impala in that it has different fender ornaments, a domed hood with center chrome ornament with fake tri-power grilles, special SS427 grille and trunklid ornaments. Unlike an Impala or Impala SS, it has no Impala or Impala SS emblems. There is one "slip-up" from the factory though. The rear speaker grille that's in the middle of the upper rear seat cushion does have the little Impala deer logo on the speaker grille emblem. But still not the Impala nameplate 🙂.

Awesome car my friend. Good memories from watching your video thanks. Made me want to drive down to East Tennessee and take a test drive. My mom had a brown one automatic 396. I was just a kid but I knew that it was a special ride for the ages.
