Thanks, Rob! I have to agree. A white stinger would look good too. Most are red. We'll do more with this car so stay tuned.

Beautiful car, love the C2 corvettes, learned alot about the 67 corvette, you did well explaining everything on the car, love to own one, but I would have to win lottery, that's the way it is for most folks, but I enjoy looking at them, thanks for sharing this amazing car.

Really love, that car, what bout 67 vette prices, nowadays?
@classicperformance Жыл бұрын
@@joshuacastaneda1837 prices are strong for mid-year Corvettes '63-'67. You can look at Bring-A-Trailer "results" to get data on current sales. Also keep in mind, the buyer pays the commission on the hammer price too.

the 68 was not a Sting Ray or a Stingray, just a corvette, in 69 they brought Stingray back as one word.
@classicperformance2 жыл бұрын
David, this is good information I did not know. Indeed a lot of oddball 1-year-only things about a '68. My least favorite '68 only is the 7" wheels.

Stinger hood on a 327? No chance -- that was reserved for the 427.
@classicperformance2 жыл бұрын
That is pretty much the consensus after I posted the video. I agree. Must have been an add on after purchase. I have traced back ownership with pictures back to '69 and the hood was always there.

@@DANTHETUBEMAN No chance. either way, we think it looks great and is a hallmark of a '67 only.

@@classicperformance if some one filled out the order form with that option it makes seance they would put the hood on without a engine badge, and that car has lots of factory options right down to the color. 🤠

I always thought "red-line tires" were called 'Tiger Paws' tires (?).
@classicperformance2 жыл бұрын
Wade, the Tiger Paws were a trademark of Uniroyal, where "Blue Streaks" were the Goodyear racing tire with blue line, and firestone had the Super Sports, etc. Several manufactures produced the 3/8 redline tire at the time. The particular ones on the '67 are from Coker tire and are an upgraded radial design. Thanks for watching and thanks for the question!
