Looks like fun. I've seen plenty of 1967-69 Dodge vans in my day, but I've never driven one, nor have I ridden in one as a passenger, so I've no way to know what it's like. :)

Have one of these, I drove it a while but the engine burned oil badly. Taking it all apart now and cleaning and fixing everything right. I need something that will run right and not cost a fortune to fix. The repair bills are worse than the gas bills at this point. That is if anyone can fix a modern car at all given it's wired like a jet fighter or space ship.

I drive mine daily and got pulled over at 95+mph and the undercover highway patrol car was tail gate ping me when his lights clicked on! He said he stopped me because I was pulling away at 95 when I wanted to change lanes so he could pass! It was a first time I didn't get a ticket and he said... I like the old van... Keep it that way... Slow down and have a nice day! Wtf? Thank you I said and he drove off! I drive one of my 7 daily and my work daily driver is the A108 Cargo van I also use for work as a Flooring Installer and you may see me passing people with a full payload and carpet a big roll of carpet hanging out the back, going up hill to Santa Cruz in my 1970 318ci a108 tradesman! With new brake pads... Mine stops fantastic! No worries here! I love my vans and that daily driver was sitting 20yrs when I bought it for parts from a 95yr old lady in San Francisco garage for $400 8 yrs ago and runs better and better with minor upgrades! Electronic ign is a must! Lol

I have a '68 Tradesman 3sp slant. The real sucky part is coming to a complete stop to shift into 1st gear?

You don’t have to stop to get it back into first gear, learn to match the revs and speed and it’ll go in before you stop.
