I owned a high performance rod shop all throughout the 80s specializing in all things MOPAR and your truck is exactly the type of vehicle that I LOVED to build!! So much space under the hood you could literally climb into the engine bay! Enough hood height to stuff a 6-71 in without cutting the hood! You may want to add some weight directly on the rear housing to aid hook up. I used to weld two fifty pound plates, one per side directly to the housing as added unsprung weight. Worked well with less spinning and wheel hop. My neighbor has an 82 shortbox with a 318 and only 47 thousand miles on it that I'm foaming at the mouth to get my hands on but the bastard won't sell!! Love your videos and the snarling roar of your stroker! Keep em coming! You don't want Karen to think she won eh?

Talk with 440 source and see if they'll work with you and build a 500 wedge, keep it old school but maybe fuel injected and upgrade the efi from the wax box injection. Four link is a must when drag racing, I pushed my dana 60 right off the leafs springs damaging a custom carbon fiber driveshaft. I was having some work done on my 77' dodge warlock in which the shop burnt up with it in it... It was a 500 wedge with a b body nascar block, indy top end kit, with an olg doug nash nascar 5-speed in front of the dana 60 with 3.90. was originally going to do a twin turbo kit but while at PRI in 2022 torq superchargers approached me with a twin kit for a 440. The shop was going to weld up torq arms from a chevy truck in the 60s and watt-link on the back side to support. I built it just for a badass hot rod truck but could do 5.50 in the 8th with the th400 I originally had as a transmission, burnt up before I could run it at any local tracks..

I had a 1994 F250 with that exact same color scheme. Also a 5 speed and 4.10 gears but it was a Turbo IDI diesel. Loved that truck, wish I would never had to have sold it.

My brothers not as clean 84 d150 318 rv cam a 650cfm Double barrel Holly Corvette Xpipe to side pipes on the Passenger side. It sounds damn good but its about to get headers and a bigger cam. We want to build his like my old 86 Dodge w250 was build a rose from hell we call it. I built my 318 made a 392 stroker out of it for sled pulling but my baby brorthers quotes were I want to make a brick go mock, Jesus. And we shal 😂😂
