1967 ES-330 played by Hudson Davis

My best friend just brought his new 330 over and we played it through a Princeton and Deluxe reverb . I have other Gibsons as well . I will say the 330 had something special over all the rest . Just a great guitar.

@Ricky Anthony it’s more than that tho. I don’t mean like he’s just using licks like tricks out of a bag. I mean to even be able to come up with the ideas that are that creative and flowing so smooth. It’s wild. I’ve heard a lot of music. But if you let me just sing a solo over changes I still tend to have some repetitive ideas. To be this creative requires having heard A LOT of music. And not only that. Being able to pull out an idea quickly that fits. There’s layers of genius to great playing. I’m just a fan haha

IF that is the self-contained amp reverb only, I am quite impressed. Some amp tech really blew it out of the water with that tank/tube set up!

This is my fav Gibson. A sunburst ES-330. Chrome p90's. Block inlays. I know the Casinos have the same specs. But the ES-330 has something...

I agree. I think it's because the recent p90 rise of popularity. My fav pickups too..

Another reason is that, despite the Epi Casino has basically the same specs... This particular ES-330 (Sunburst, metal p90 cover) it has it's own vibe. And I love Casinos. But this has to be my fav Gibson ever.
